Modern Languages

    Course Tutor - Fiona Bewick is a Principal Teacher of Modern Languages at Renfrew High School and a marker for SQA. She has spent the last 8 years teaching French and Spanish from National 5 to Advanced Higher and also tutoring at these levels. She has a thorough understanding of what pupils find difficult and provides advice on effective support, helping her pupils gain the best possible marks. She is also involved in delivering training for primary colleagues in the L3 language.

Higher Modern Languages

This course offers teachers new to Higher Modern Languages (or those who haven't taught it in a while) practical experience and ideas for implementing the course. An overview of the course content and suggested timelines will be given along with analysis of the four contexts and skills. We will also look at the new changes to the CfE Higher and the implication of these changes.

This course also provides the opportunity to network and share ideas with practitioners from various authorities.
