Lindsay Robb graduated with an Honours degree in Business Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. She worked in the finance/investments industry for 7 years as a manager and for a short period, trainer which lead her onto teaching.  Lindsay is an SQA approved marker and marks both levels each year; Higher and National 5. This year Lindsay is marking the Higher assignment and N5 question paper. In previous years, she has marked the N5 assignment and Higher question paper therefore she has experience to share in the assignment and question paper at both Higher and N5 level.

Higher Business Management
Friday 8th June 2018
10.00 - 15.30
£179 plus VAT

This course is aimed at anyone delivering Higher Business Management. The course aims to build confidence in 3 key areas; exam technique, student confidence and assignment advice. This course is particularly relevant to the assignment with the Higher assignment due to change next academic year.

Lindsay wants to share her 'best practise' approach by offering a range of her own created learning material (bring a pen drive!). In addition, she will share advice on business terminology, application of necessary exam technique and offer applied structures to ensure candidates address each SQA command word with confidence.  Lindsay will share some AfL strategies she finds easy to prepare but work with Business Management classes and there will be an element of metacognitive strategies shared.
